Booking Policy / Terms & Conditions

These terms are designed to keep your booking simple, clear, and stress-free.
By paying the booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
1. Who We Are
Storylight Photobooth provides premium photobooth hire for weddings and events across Ireland.

2. Booking and Payment
A non-refundable booking fee of €125 is required to secure your event date.
Your booking is confirmed once the booking fee has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before your event date. We will send a reminder ahead of the due date.
If the final balance is not received by this time, Storylight Photobooth reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the booking fee.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
The booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
If you cancel more than 30 days before your event, no further payment is required.
If you cancel within 30 days of your event, the remaining balance will be payable in full.
If Storylight Photobooth is unable to fulfil the booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, equipment failure, or force majeure), all payments received will be refunded in full.
4. Reschedules & Changes
Requests to change the event date, time, or package must be made in writing.
Changes may be made up to 30 days before the event, subject to availability.
If the requested new date is unavailable, the cancellation policy will apply.
Requests made within 30 days of the event cannot be guaranteed.
5. Event Requirements & Set up
The client must ensure that the venue provides:
- Adequate space for setup and operation
- Access to a suitable power supply
- Shelter if the booth is located outdoors
Setup typically requires 60 to 90 minutes, with approximately 45 minutes required for breakdown.
The client must ensure access to the venue is available in sufficient time for setup.
We’ll liaise with your venue where needed to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
Storylight Photobooth uses professional flash photography and studio lighting to ensure the highest quality and most flattering images in a wide range of lighting conditions.
The client is responsible for ensuring that flash photography is permitted at the venue and for informing Storylight Photobooth in advance of any venue restrictions, guest medical conditions, sensitivities, or other circumstances that may limit or prevent the use of flash photography.
Storylight Photobooth cannot be held responsible for any issues arising where such restrictions or sensitivities have not been communicated prior to the event.
6. Service Duration
Booth hire begins and ends as stated in your booking confirmation.
We’ll always guide you on the best timing to ensure your guests get the most from the experience.
Time lost due to venue or client delays cannot be extended or refunded, though extensions may be available at additional cost if arranged in advance.
Additional hours can be arranged at €100 per hour, subject to availability, and must be requested before your booth hire time ends.
7. Guest Conduct
The client is responsible for the behaviour of all guests using the photobooth.
Storylight Photobooth reserves the right to pause or terminate the service if guest behaviour poses a risk to equipment or safety.
8. Equipment and Liability
All equipment remains the property of Storylight Photobooth.
The client is responsible for any loss or damage caused to equipment due to misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.
Storylight Photobooth is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Power outages
- Venue restrictions
- Severe weather
- Access limitations
9. Photos, Data and Privacy
Photos taken during the event will be available to guests during the event.
Where included in the package, digital galleries will be delivered within 7 to 14 days and remain accessible for a limited time.
The client is responsible for ensuring guests are aware that images are being captured.

10. Use of Images
Storylight Photobooth may use selected images or behind-the-scenes content for promotional purposes, including website and social media.
Content will always be selected carefully and respectfully.
If you do not wish for any images to be used, this must be confirmed in writing prior to the event.
11. Agreement
By paying the booking fee, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
